Flood rtorrent docker - of /index.php

This is a docker-compose file for a simple, secure torrent setup. To run everything, put your open vpn configuration file in. This works great but I'd love to connect rtorrent to sonarr.

And also a way to expose the correct port. If you add another service to the existing docker-compose. In the comments, it provides the URL for wait-for. Create the directory and put the script in there. I also had to change the wait-for lines to '.

If I didn't, it gave an error about trying to mount a file as a directory. I have a Pi4 4gb and a Pi0. I was hoping to either setup a docker stack on the Pi4 to run alongside other containers or to use my pizero as a dedicated torrent downloader. The setup shown in this gist looks particularly secure but the images are only for amd I'm fairly new to docker and am having difficulties working out the best approach to building for armv6 or v7. Hi again! I think I figured out my issue with crossbuilding docker images for other architectures, and I'm now just trying to get my old i3 to pull and run the images so I can be certain things work before trying to crossbuild.

I'm getting an error like skoLLC. I followed the suggestion from freakyc and yet I'm still hitting a brick wall. If anyone could let me know where I'm going wrong, I'd be grateful. I followed the link to the waitfor script and see that it can also be built as an image, would that help? Happy to share details of any progress I make. Would also be happy if someone just told me to read something.

My issue is really understanding where to start looking for the solution. I realise that noobs such as myself can be irritating. I have done quite a lot of rooting around on the internet to see if there is anything that would make, what is probably a painfully obvious mistake, obvious to me!

Alas I remain ignorant!

This error seems to be caused by the wait-for script missing. So far I've gotten everything up and running, technically, but once I register with Flood that container crashes. Wishing the best for this, though. Right now the Flood web client requests the full list of torrents every time the UI updates which by default is 5 seconds. This will be a lot of data when you have 11, torrents. As an example, in the torrents I have running, the full list request is 51 kilobytes.

So if the metadata in your torrents are similar, then the response for 11, torrents will be approximately 1. Other than data usage, I think the UI should handle the load reasonably well if you access the client on a modern device. Rendering the list should be performant; it already renders only the items that are visible in the viewport. The server's API is being rewritten in a way where it will give the client the full torrent list only once, and then for the rest of the client's session, it will send "patches" that describe what changed since the last request.

It also seems to have put itself in a loop of checking the status of every file a very long operation for mewhich completely locked up rtorrent until I killed the server. Edit: Just to be clear, I was never even able to reach the overview page. This is unfortunate to hear, but good to know. I'll file a Github issue with this information. Looks awesome! And I'm just in the process of migrating my physical server into a VM. Perfect timing. I like it. Need a browser plugin to auto add torrents from sites then I'm set to switch over!

Are there any seedbox services that run rtorrent that I could point Flood at?

How to Install Deluge on Synology (Seedbox)

The seedbox I currently have has a terrible UI. That looks awesome. Currently I have my own browser addon that sends torrents and magnets directly to ruTorrent; I guess I'll have to rewrite that if I end up liking Flood better!

Installed and set up, I really like the looks. It's still missing some very important features though, so I'll have to keep rutorrent installed aswell.

I know this isn't strictly legal but is there a feature or planned feature to add a search feature like qBittorrent has? If I run just rutorrent I can set that up in Sonarr and it works fine, but I'm not too sure how to get it to connect to Flood Use of this site constitutes acceptance of our User Agreement and Privacy Policy.

Is something wrong with this creation of the container? Parameters The parameters are split into two halves, separated by a colon, the left hand side representing the host and the right the container side. For example with a port -p external:internal - what this shows is the port mapping from internal to external of the container. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get autodl-irssi installed? Docker is very confusing to me Can you try following my guide here to see if it all functions correctly?

I don't talk about autodl there but at least you can make sure you can change the download location and general operation is successful. What happens when you try to change your download location on that container? I don't use ZFS, but I do use a mergerFS pool that requires certain options to be disabled before data can be written by rutorrent to the pool.

Thanks for taking the time to make such a thorough guide. Unfortunately I followed it and it does not work for me. It's still pointed at my OS disc and every time I restart the image, my settings change back to default in rutorrent itself.

Can you show us screenshots of your container setup? Also, are you changing your download location in the rutorrent web UI, or in the rtorrent. I don't believe I did to be honest. If that was one of the steps I may have over looked it. I also just realized that this thread is marked under OMV 4, I'm running 3. Would that make a difference? I'll post screen shots a bit later on as I already uninstalled it lol.GitHub is home to over 50 million developers working together to host and review code, manage projects, and build software together.

I have written several articles around it, the previous one being on Quickboxa script that will install and configure your seedbox Using rTorrent in a single command line.

Flood is using Node. Now, we create a SystemD startup script to ensure rtorrent is running at the startup and it ease the control. You will need NodeJS, the version 8 will work great. Feel free to use nvm to manage your node versions To do so, still in root Or with sudo run:. Before launching Flood, we will create a systemd script to launch flood directly at startup and easier to manage.

Instead of accessing it through the IP and the portit will be much easier to access it through a domain name or subdomain name like flood.

And that's it, you should now have access to your Flood instance by connecting directly to your subdomain. If you have issues, feel free to comment or to directly check their github page.

Github wasn't any help either. Written on Sat, 07 Apr by Carl. Hi, it could be indeed easier to have only 1 user. I did not face this issue, but I believe it can happen indeed when creating subfolders. I guess you can first create them and do a chown -R on it. Thanks for raising this Written on Sat, 31 Mar by Karibu.

I'm totally into the idea of separating different applications to different users, but I think I'm running into permission issues because of it. When you add a torrent into flood, sometimes it needs to create the directory that its going to be stored in. I've tried using shared groups, setgid and default permissions with setfacl to no avail.
